we stumbled upon this jewel by chance last week when i was taking my wife and her friend to dinner downtown. my wife caught glimpse of their magnificent chandelier through their drapes as we approached the expressway on diversey. our curiousity paid dividends, we were awed from the moment we stepped in, the hostess was quick to seat us under the chandelier. the variety of complimentary breads kept us busy while we waited for our crab cakes and baby ribs. the food was spectacular, the meats were cooked to perfection and the spices were mysteriously wonderful. we highly recommend the short cake for dessert. very complete selection of wines. the service was in line with any 5star restaurant weve visited. all in all a dlightful experience, beautiful venue.
