Cinghiale (ching-GYAH-lay), which means wild boar in Italian, celebrates the richness and style of the Italian table. The restaurant is designed as a gathering place; the center of downtown where everyone goes to meet over business and social occasions. Inspired by the energy of the late 50’s and early 60’s in cities like Milano and Bologna, Cinghiale has a lively urban bustle in the Enoteca, and a relaxed, elegance in the Osteria.
Cinghiale is the combination of Enoteca and an elegant Osteria. The softness of the blues and greens seen throughout the Northern Italian countryside intertwine with strong iron work details and curved, walnut woodwork, giving guests a comfortable space with sleek sightlines and an inviting entry.
Cinghiale is organized to allow for several styles of dining. The space allows for a quick bite or a more leisurely dining experience. Regardless of your preference at any particular moment, you will find cooking from the heart and an extensive wine list that brings the world’s largest wine making country to life.
Ventured away front the Inner Harbor Core while attending a recent convention and were well rewarded with a lovely setting, wonderful food and superb service. An excellent experience to conclude our first visit to Baltimore.
