Pros: Large, fresh, crispy batter fried shrimp! My favorite! Catfish excellent, too. Excellent salad bar and... good service.
Cons: I'm not crazy about the beer batter hush puppies. They taste too much like beer! Also, shrimp and catfish... while high quality... are relatively unseasoned... so you may want to mix some hot sauce into your ketchup, tartar sauce, or whatever. The cooking takes a while, but it is definitely worth the wait!!
OVERALL... A GREAT PLACE TO EAT! AND THE BEST FRIED SHIMP WE HAVE FOUND... EVEN AT THE HIGH DOLLAR SPOTS IN GALVESTON!
