Broccolini's is a fine example of what a little neighborhood Italian restaurant should be. Small, intimate, nice enough for a special occasion, but not too fussy. Perfect any night of the week.
And the food.... consistently fabulous. If you can't see what you have a taste for on the menu (odd, because everything looks good), just ask. The owner's aim to please and will do virtually anything to assure that you are.
It's a great value too- not cheap, but really good food can't be.
This is a rare gem. Enjoy it. Tell your friends. Mass marketing of big chains is killing the small restaurant business. Shop local! Dine local!

Without a doubt our favorite Italian restaurant in all of Sarasota. We love the food, the people, the warm feeling we always have when dining there.

Shaners has THE BEST Pizza in Sarasota county. It is just like the Chicago thin crust with real chunks of sausage not the ground up sprinkles like others. I have friends that drive from Daytona Beach to eat at Shaners. I drive from Venice.

wow what a suprise. Outstanding food and the waitress was so nice. Small mom and pop place with maybe just a dozen tables but the food and service was terrific.

Excellent Italian food. Comfortable atmosphere. Nice staff. Restaurant was closed at the time of our original reservation. We came back the next day. And, our order got mixed up. But, on the whole, a wonderful restaurant.

Pleasurable dining is an individual thing. Thus the two glaringly opposite reviews. We have been going to Solorzanos for many years. Food is always fresh and if only I could find their quality, freshness and flavor in a bag. I would never eat out
