I have not yet had the pleasure of dining in what appears to be a great restaurant. However, I did have a short conversation on the phone with someone at Birchrunville who was not terribly friendly, quite impatient and in fact hung up the phone without a salutation after I thanked her for her help in answering my questions regarding reservations. I truly believe that customer service can make or break your dining experience and since they haven't gotten me in there yet to eat, and my one minute conversation was with an individual who didn't feel it was important to give me the time to answer my few questions, I already have a sour taste in my mouth. I still do hope to go one day, but am disenchanted by the curt service I've already received.
This restaurant is located out in the country on a beautiful property. I recently attended a garden wedding at the Inn. The food was very good although the managment could put a little more attention into the details of the decor.
