The Meoli's have created a menu inspired by their Greek, French, and Italian heritage. (Liza who is Greek, grew up in Sydney Australia & Gigi "Gennaro" who is Italian, grew up in Toulouse, France & South Philly). Miami has been their home since 1993. With over forty years of experience between them, in the restaurant/entertainment business & extensive travel abroad, they bring their passion, experience & knowledge to Anise, offering you a taste of their culture in the heart of Miami.
Focus is the FRESHNESS & QUALITY of product, SIMPLICITY and a BACK TO BASIC approach in the kitchen and a RUSTIC, COMFORTABLE setting in the dining room. The place is named for the anise seeds that give ouzo its licorice flavor.

"if you want the best sushi, this is the place to go to. great service and very fast. the decor has got that simple nature feel,it's a little dim at dinner time which i love.i love everything about it. can't go wrong here...
