 Great food, love the lobster and steaks. Love the museum upstairs

 After waiting 1 hr, my husband and I were offered a table in the bar area next to unused, stacked chairs. When we told the hostess we preferred a table in the general dining area, she replied that it would be another hour wait. Deeming that as totally non-accomodating, we left the restaurant. The real kicker was the response to our letter we sent Stage Stop about our disappointing visit. The responder was very defensive and conveyed much bitterness and disrespect to us. In fact, she wrote that not only was she the hostess that night, but also the owner! Sad that Stage Stop treated us terribly -appears they take their customers for granted.

 The Stage Stop is a wonderful restaurant. What a wonderful ambiance. On weekends get there early. Great steaks.

 We have been going to the Stage Stop for over 30 years and this is our all-time favorite restaurant. We drive all the way from the south surburbs of Chicago to go and recommend it to everyone. All of the food is excellent! Salad dressings are to die for. Worth the trip!

 We just love it. Every personal holiday we celebrate with you. In fact it's my sons birthday and we'll be there Sat. Jan.27 I don't mind the kids there as long as they're behaved. we hate to hear the yelling, crying, or running around. Never had a bad meal and my husband loves all that butter. Wish you took credit cards.

 LOVE THIS PLACE! Have been going here for many years. Now all my friends frequent Stage Stop too. I'm a Chicago-an and have been to lots of nice, expensive restaurants, but this one is a gem! And the prices are great. The filet & lobster are the best!

 WOW...GREAT PLACE. MY NEW FAVORITE. ADD LOBSTER TO ANYTHING YOU ORDER. GREAT IDEA! DON'T HAVE TO BEG FOR MORE BUTTER ON YOUR POTATO. VERY UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE AND DECOR.
