We are in Elizabethtown, KY for the Armor Conference, staying at Holiday Inn Express off Interstate 65. Prior to our check-in, we decided to eat somewhere close by, that being Outlaw, around 7:30 pm. My husband ordered BBQ Pork Plate and I ordered a sirloin steak - medium rare. There was no additional hot sauce for my husband (loves hot BBQ). My potato would hardly melt the margarine on it and was a left-over potato (crusty and too much unnatural yellow, signs of a potato that has not been recently cooked - within the last 30 minutes). My steak was cooked pretty much as I wished, just cold. Our service left a lot to be desired. We went to your restaurant, we ordered, we ate (because we had not eaten since breakfast), we left and as far as we are concerned, we won't go back. And no, we did not complain because we were not sure it would be to our advantage or handled in a timely manner so to do. We would have just been there longer. Good luck in the future, hopefully you will improve your service. From now on, for good meal with hot food, especially steak we will be at Texas Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse.

On the way to eat one day we discovered that Texas Roadhouse was full up so we went down the street to Texas Outlaw Barbecue. The prices were outrageous, the service was terrible, and the food was mediocre. We have NEVER been back.

Until last Friday (12/14/07) I was a fan of this restaurant, however I had only been there for lunch. This particular time I took my daughter and mother out for dinner. My mother is blind in her right eye and has limited eyesight in her left eye. ...
