This is my favourite place in the world for greasy spoon fare. The best burgers, hot dogs, root beer (floats), fries, and onion rings EVER! It's the essence of summer and even though I've left Connecticut, I never fail to make it home to the Sycamore a few times a year. It's one of my fondest childhood memories, and Dr. Mike's ice cream is near-by. Run, don't walk to your car and get to the Sycamore RIGHT AWAY. Seriously. I even went when I was a vegetarian, but the grilled cheese can't beat the steakburgers. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Hmm... time to plan another trip back to the States!

Great 50's diner ambience. Jukebox in the corner, clean and friendly. Car hop service available and Antique car CRUISE nights in the Summer on Saturdays. Get there early, it gets packed. Has been geven the most cruise nights award. Good local crowd.
Serloin burgers are served for hamburgers here and have been told they are wonderful. (I'm a vegan)
