 We are from Texas, and are particular about our ribs and barbecue. Shorty Smalls met our high standards.We had a great meal, and great service. It is the place to go for a good meal in Branson.
I did call back and ask what they put in their cheese dip Chris said that they put water. I have doubts about that.

Whenever we go to Branson, we make a point of eating at Shorty Smalls. The food and service was great. However, there was a photographer in the place that would not take no for answer to take pictures. When we go to a restaurant to eat, I do not want to be interrupted by someone taking and/or showing pictures while we are trying to enjoy our food. We were there on July 31, 2007.

A wonderful place to eat. The food was great! Will visit again ASAP.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Extremley poor service, tables are always dirty, overpriced! That restraunt was the worst experience my wife and I have ever experienced.

I'm actually rating the location at 119 th and Maple in Wichita, Kansas, but if this location is like the rest then Shorty Smalls is a great place to eat where ever you go. We've been to Shorty's several times and recommend it to everyone we talk to. Great food, great staff and a great time.

I'm from Texas and we know good barbeque.
Those were without a doubt the best pork ribs I've ever had. So moist, soooooo tender.
We went back 2 nights later to have 'em again.
Thanks for a great meal while on vacation.

My sisters and neices went to Branson for a special birthday celebration in honor of my deceased mother. The employees at this restaurant were very rude and embarrassed my family so much that I received a long distance phone call from them in tears. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.

We love to eat at shorty's. The summer of 2ooo we visited branson for a week, we ate at shorty's twice. I will tell you to be prepared to wait in line but the ribs are worth it. If you check around you can find coupons for two can dine on ribs with fixins for $20.

Excellant Place to eat....food is always good, as is the service. It is a fun place with the wait staff singing during your dining. I rated it as 1 star because today they refused to seat me because I was alone....the hostess said they were too busy ...

Clean, good service and hot food. Not a five star dining experience however, good home cooking type menu. Great for a family. Something on the menu for everyone.
