 Portobello's food burst with such great flavors. There food is really good, try the mascarpone dish, it was excellent. I also like when the owner is an active worker, you can find him in the kitchen or behind the bar, we found him behind the bar, he made some good menu suggestions.

My wife and I just got back from Italy, it was great. Italy reminded us of our favorite Italian restaurant we eat in often, Portobello on Shrewsbury street in Worcester. The decor and the high quality of food made us both feel like we were eating in the little restaurant in a small village 3 miles outside of Rome. I suggest going to Portobello to get the Italian feel and great Italian food, you will enjoy it.

Portobello has been in business for over ten years on a very busy street. When I first entered Portobello, I felt like I was walking into a restaurant in Italy. The restaurant is headed by a profesional chef. Go to Portobello you will love it we did. Portobello is the way Italian restaurant are supposed to be.

This is Worcester's best kept secret. Large portions of great Italian dishes. Nice fresh Italian bread and Marinara for dipping. Lots of takeout orders and you get seated pretty quickly too, if you want. Nothing fancy but great food.
