Restaurant Description
Once upon a time on a dock in Naples, there was a little Pelican. His name was Larry because that's what his Mama called him. Little Larry would sit around all day waiting for the local fishermen to come in so he could eat the fish that they would bring him. As time went by, Larry would do the same routine, float around all day in the sun and wait for the boats to come in.He was very happy but he realized he was also very lonely. He wanted to share his daily fresh catch with everyone.
He thought: "Why not invite some friends over to share my fish with?" So the flock gathered and they ate the catch of the day with him. As word spread around more and more people came over and before you knew it there was no more room on the dock for everyone. That's when Larry decided he needed a bigger place to meet. He found a cozy little spot on Pine Ridge Road. Things went so well there, he had ice cold beer, drinks, a kitchen to prepare the daily catch and he added a menu of appetizers sandwiches and daily creations and decided to name it after himself: Pelican Larry's.
Again things went so well that Larry had to open up another restaurant on a Immokalee Road. So now all of Larry's friends are welcome to come over for daily gathering of great people great food and great times. And the rest, as they say, is history.
