If you are Cuban, as I am, do not bother going to this cafe. The food is an insult to my culture. They served me dry slices of pork(lechon asado)the rice was sticky and the black beans were just beans floating in chicken broth. The fried yucca came with a sauce that turned out to be ketchup and mayo mixed together...AWFUL! The so called "mojo" looked like dirty pond water in a jar, and the sandwiches all had heaps of mayo in them. HELLO???? Cuban sandwiches do NOT have mayo, especially a pan con lechon. The server was clueless and I only feel sorry for people that go there expecting to get Cuban food. This is not it!!! Trust me, this place will shut down within months.

This place made me rush home and stay on the toilet for 24 hours as if I had been poisoned.

Consistently good food and decor. Great people. Great Value. Upscale, with the charm of the "Old South."

The novelty has worn off of this restaurant and other new restaurants in the area have drawn some customers elsewhere. This makes Cooker a great restaurant to re-visit since there us usually no wait and the staff is not
