The food at this place is incredible. I would recommend either the Macedonia Plate, or the Villagers plate. Both of these plates offer a variety of greek specialties and are reasonably priced. The service was top of the line. We had a young woman wait on us for dinner, and she made our first greek dining experinece out of this world. She was helpful, kind, and had great recomendations on the food and wine. We have told all of our friends about the little Greek Restaraunt inside the Reed Opera House, and encourage others to dine there as well. Make sure you ask for Tara to serve you. You will be very happy you did.

I so wanted to like this restaurant--Salem is in need. However, I found the service slow, and the food overpriced and much less exciting than the menu promised. I get the feeling the place is trying to be something it's not.

Alessandro's has become a hip, happy and happening place since changing ownership about three years ago. We dine there at least once a month. Why? One is surrounded by outstanding artwork wherever you sit. The food is consistently good -- especially

It is one ot the three finest resturants in Salem, and it probably has the finest, most eclectic menu. Don't be put off by the idiots who want fast food. It is a European restaurant, and the service is not slow; it is leisurely. Yes, they are som
