Been going for years and is a definate stop whenever I come home for a visit. It's the best "bad food" out there. A real gut buster....

I got lost in Gary, Indiana and was hungry. I noticed a Koney King restaurant and decided to stop in. The business seemed to be doing a brisk business. I ordered the "Big Paulie". It was a huge platter. Two chili-cheese dogs smothered in the locally famous chili. French fries were mounded on one side also covered in the chili and cheese concoction. Delicious! The people in the place were busy chatting and eating. A happy place. It's a neighborhood establishment and has been in business there for a long time. At least that's what it says on the wall. The place is clean and the prices resonable. If I get around there again, I would probably order less food and drink more of the ambiance.
