like the previous reviewer, I too am from the Chicago area. My next-door neighbors were greek and there were 2 greek restaurants within a 2 minute drive from my house. As a student at BSU King Gyros was my favorite place to go for a Gyro, Burger, Hot Dog, or whatever (my personal favorite was my "heart-attack-special": two hotdogs with double bacon, double cheese and a side of fries. for less than $4). It's a shame it closed down. Luckily I found another in Valparaiso, Indiana...

The food isn't gourmet, but it isn't supposed to be. As far as street-corner fastfood goes, this is the best in Muncie. I grew up in Chicago where we walk down the block to get a Polish & Fries or a Gyros. When I get homesick I can always go to King Gyros and feel right at home. The multi-level seating also makes for an interesting atmosphere.
