All I can say is that maybe the regular staff didn't show up the evening we decided to try dinner here. 20 minutes after being seated, our server shows up to inform us of the evening's specials. Not interested, we asked what was good/popular on the menu. Blank stare. We had to ask about each item. After continuous shoulder shrugs and confused faces we almost left. We knew Warm Springs has few options and all were booked until 9 PM. We should have left anyway. $30 for 2 glasses of bad house wine and 2 draft beers. The Onion soup was sour with no hint of Sherry. Steaks arrived well done when ordered medium rare. No apologies. When asked if I could speak to someone in charge an excuse about they were too busy in the back and couldn’t come out. I think now that I was speaking to an owner. Couldn’t of had a worse ending to what otherwise was a spectacular day. Do yourself a favor and grab a sub or salad at the Varsity Grill across the street.
