While I am not a professional BBQ Judge (although I have been asked to be one) I eaten a lot of BBQ from all across the US including Tampa, Florida, Washington DC, Montgomery, Alabama and Houston, Texas. I'll have to tell you that the BEST pork BBQ I've ever had is at Jaymer BBQ in Valrico, FL. The taste is out of this world; so good that when they ask me what kind of sauce I want, I tell them none. I don't want to cover up the flavor of the meat. And no, I am not related to the owners nor do I own stock, it's just great BBQ!

Great place I found through a recommendation while in town on business. As an owner of a BBQ spice company and member of a BBQ competition team, I know good BBQ and this was it. Fantastic baby back ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. Homemade side dishes were fantastic. Four of us stuffed ourselves and they stayed open a little later to take care of us. The owners, Jaymer and his wife, were super nice and offered great hospitality. I highly recommend to anyone in the area, or even a bit out (we drove 25 minutes). Give them a call ahead of time to find out what's cooking special that night (certain nights have specialties). One last bit of advice --- go hungry!!!

great food. can be busy on fri/sat, but even if you wait for 5 minutes, its faster than if you were going next door to order a pizza where it will be 15-20+ minutes. nice folks. authentic texas BBQ. great home made sides. worth the trip. 2 thumbs up

Awesome place. Blows the standard Brandon places away. Worth the extra 7 minutes south of Hwy 60.
