The Italian House is known throughout the nation (world?) as an amazing place to not only find great pasta but also because of the very conscientious and welcoming owner. It has developed a history as a great value-for-dollar lunch for students at the near by high school, as a first-job opportunity for teens with the owner equally concerned about their scholastic achievements as he is with his business, as a great family-friendly stop for abundant take-out dinners, and even for a quiet place to just meet with friends. Students who have now moved on to college and or careers never fail to make the Italian House a destination when they return to Janesville. This is the epitome of the finest in small, local restaurant success and should not be dismissed when looking for local Italian dining.
