My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. We left terrifically disappointed. We will not be returning. I was served a salad which had frozen lettuce and cucumbers. Then we were told that the frylator had broken and we could not get fried calamari, and 5 minutes later the table next to us was served fried oysters. The waitress did not tell us what the house vegetable was, and it ended up being something I was allergic to. By the time I got a replacement, I was done with my meal. When we complained to the owner's wife, we were offered no compensation. We will never go there again. The food we did get was just average. I think the bread we were served was reheated day-old. Portions were very small for the price. The shortcake in the strawberry shortcake was dry and hard. My baked stuffed shrimp had tasteless breadcrumbs on top. The rice pilaf was yucky. My husband got baked scallops, and they were small and overcooked. The place was practically empty, and it was a Friday night. Now we know why.
