Awesome restaurant, the place has a great vibe and every weekend you can count on a band jammin away on the patio.(Providing its not raining) This place has transformed itself since new management took over this spring! They now have an outdoor tiki bar and a much more casual atmosphere. The menu is great and the prices have come way down from what it used to be. Its now one of La Crosse's hottest places to be for diner or just to hang out for a few drinks. The view from the restaurant of all the beautiful boats in the marina and the Black River make it a really unique experience. The only bad thing about it is that it's so popular now that parking has become a real problem but luckily there is ample parking in the shipyard of Skipperliner Marine. Trust me, its worth the extra walk.

Great food! Absoulutely the WORST service we've ever had at any restaurant.

I've been to this north side restaurant maybe 10 times in the past 7 month and only once was I actually able to get a shake - all other times the machine was unavailable. I don't have this issue with the Burger King by Festival or the one in Holmen...

The food is consistently good. It's reminiscent of supper clubs in the 1950s, and the menu has hardly changed. Their saving grace is their bar and their steaks. Vegetables are overcooked, starches are bland. Their bread is horrid; it's frozen a...
