Guapo's is one of the best. Went there for the first time with my parents and they were so pleased that they tipped over 25%! The food is unbelievably good...and you never leave unsatisfied. The service is tops...your glass of water is almost never half empty and the bowls of chips and salsa are often replaced. Order a pitcher of margarita along with your meal as well...it may be a little pricey ($30, I think) but worth it!

This is the BEST tex-mex food in the city. The swirl margaritas are amazing and the portions of food are huge. My husband and I always split the Rio Grande fajitas. There is always plenty left over to bring home.

Great Place!! Good food. Good decor (maybe a bit overdone). The Queso is great, used to have lunch there a lot with the Kennedy Center Crowd. We'd drink pitchers of margharitas.
Prices are fair, you always get a big portion.

this place is excellent, worth the hour it takes to get there from southern maryland. the food makes your whole body melt. truly authentic mexican cuisine

Guapos is a place to go for some good food, not for the ambience. The theme of the restaurant is tex-mex, but the setting isn't the focus of the meal.
