 The food is very good and portion sizes are decent. The chef's range from OK to pretty good, but it's the luck of the draw. The good thing is that the flavor is fairly consistant no matter which chef you get.
If you can avoid looking at the ceiling then you will enjoy the atmosphere and decor.
Our family loves to go here as a special treat, but due to the cost it's not as frequent as we would like.

WE LOVE HINODE.. WE GO THERE JUST ABOUT EVERY SUNDAY AND THEY KNOW US BY NAME. THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND YOU GET A LOT OF FOOD. WE ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT TIME!

Food was great, prices ok. The only problem was the Freeking Sushi chef kept hitting on my wife while I was right there!!! Totally unprofessional and inappropriate. The manager is a scroat and incredibly rude. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 Stars doesn't even do this place justice. I would go to Hinode over any other Hibachi restaurant hands down. Great value, great food and the chef's are superb.
