Gardena Restaurant Guide

Located in a strip center at Artesia and Normandy, El Rocoto serves foods of Peru in a variety of styles. Your dinner begins with fresh baked rolls and two ahi sauces. These sauces are quite spicy and delicious and make a good accompaniment with the rest of your meal. The main courses may be chicken with spaghetti noodles, a chinese stir-fry, or a hearty beef stew. They also serve various fish dishes. If you finish your meal, you have probably over-eaten. I have never ordered anything here that I didn't like. At lunch they have a special every day that includes one of several delicious soups.

There are only a few negatives to this restaurant. One is that there isn't anything 'light' on the menu, the food is deffinately on the hearty side. Another is that the restaurant isn't very relaxing due to its popularity.
