I am the crabby "waitress" that the lady talks about. I rolled my eyes not at her, but at the fact that I told my partner, now my ex, that the meat looked bloody! The hair she may have found would have been his. Les can apologize all he wants, but he is going out of business anyway. Guess he added too much hair to his bloody turkey meat!!

This place is amazing. I visit constantly, and in all fact, the turkey certainly is one of the best things offered on the lunch menu. The service I've had is amazing, and everything has beeIn pure bliss. It is all authentic, with REAL meat instead of the pressed deli 'stuff'. I plan on continuing these wonderful experiences.

I am actually the owner of Cool Beans. I just wanted to apologize to the diner from asheville for the negative experience. The woman described in the review is my now ex-wife. She isn't here any longer. We prepare our own turkey, rather than using deli meat like other places. Our regulars love it. We serve far more turkey than any of the other meats. We rarely have complaints, and the majority of those are corrected on the spot. Again, you have my sincere apologies.. Les R

Steer very clear of this place. I had a turkey sandwich in which the turkey wasn't cooked thoroughly...still bloody. When I complained to the waitress she actually rolled her eyes while taking my plate back to the kitchen. When I FINALLY got my replacement, I took one bite and found a hair stuck between my teeth, yuck! I didn't complain, as the waitress (I think owner)was a real crab and I was short on time, and still hungry. I just paid for the meal and left.
