Excellent food, prompt and friendly service, pleasant environment. I also enjoyed the music. Once I discovered it, I kept going back. It was simply a friendly and comfortable place.
Not sure how the ratings are intended to be done. This wasn't a five-star restaurant, but it's not intended to be. Which also means it won't break the bank when the bill comes.
(City referenced below is actually the city where the restaurant is. They don't have any where I live. I was in Des Moines working).

Amazing place--far better than Applebee's, Chili's and the other casual chains. Huge portions, low prices, nice atmosphere. Why aren't there more Cheddar's around?

The chicken tender plate is delicious and an excellent value. We also love the onion rings and dip. The rasberry lemonade is great, too.
