Our family of 15 went there at 6PM 27-July-05. Although the dinning area was 3/4 empty, it took 45 minutes to get seated. The air conditioner was not working, so it was quite uncomfortable. They did not even bring in fans. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our meals. By then the young children were very tired so that family had their meals boxed and went back to their motel. Most of the meals were good, but the blackened red fish had so much black pepper or other hot spice that it was barely edible. The eggplant and shrimp casserole was not good.
We came back...and the place, if anything, has gotten better. Is this possible!!?? What can I say?? We had both lunch and dinner here!

What can I say...some of the best seafood and gumbo we've eaten...bar none. Chappie, our host and chef, came out and talked with the diners.. The prices are comparible with any fine restaurant.
