Best hush puppies in the world. All of the fresh seafood is prepared to perfection, whether broiled, boiled, or fried. Always fresh soups and salads, and more than just fish for the kids. Full wine and beer menu and the people that work there are friendly and the service top notch. Bring the whole family. My favorite place to eat on Topsail.

The location (right on the water) is nice, and the facility is spacious. However, the menu is somewhat limited and the prices seem a bit steep for the quality provided. Like all other Topsail restaurants we have tried, this one--for reasons that baffle--has no "whole" fish, only filet. Seems like Mrs. Paul is in charge of these coastal seafood establishments. Folks, if you want to be a real "seafood" restaurant, serve up something more special than fried shrimp, fried oysters and fish filet. Anyone can get that kind of food anywhere, including the supermarket frozen food section. Why not take advantage of the freshness promised by your coastal location? Give us a reason to not cook at home when visiting Topsail. Topsail is ripe for a truly good restaurant. So far, it doesn't seem to have one. It's more like an unending array of Captain D's, I'm afraid. But we'll keep looking.

Very poor service - took along time to get our food. Fish overbreaded - more like fast food type fish at higher prices. Management very unresponsive to customer needs or complaints. I will not eat there again. A complete waste of time - over 2 hours wasted.
