Took 4 friends for dinner there just last month while on visit to coast. Food was served hot and was great. Potato pancakes were awesome. Atmosphere is very entertaining as every square inch is covered with memorabilia collected by family for years.

I am of German descent. I was disappointed. Saurbraten & dumplings were so so and luke warm and Lacked Flavor. Tasted the potato pancake, which was made by pre order and it was very good and hot. Dinner portions small for the price. German Beer was highlight plus waitress. Will not return however.

Bodos totally rocks. It is strange and unusually German, believe me, but OHMIGOSH the food is utterly fantastic. MAMA, I understand, does most of the cooking for Axel, whom we met. But, it is sheer delish. Try it.

Bodos German restaurant is a true diamond in the rough. I discovered Bodos in august 1985 and have been comming back ever since. Bodos is a family owned and operated establishment with mom cooking the best german food this side of the Atlantic and sons Bodo and Axel serving their customers with hometown hospitality. (the potatoe pancakes schnitzels, and german sausages are a must)In bodos pub true german draught; Bitburger pils, warstiener, and maisels are my favorites. The atmosphere in Bodos a like a museum with artifacts from past celebrity guests Barbra Eden, Jan Michael Vincent, Avery Schriver, and Mick Jagger to name a few. Bodos music selections are classic oom-paa till nine with Pink Floyd till closing. "Bodos the only German restaurant that plays pink Floyd"
