We eat at this restaurant on an average of 2 times a week, and it is the best German food we have had! We have a lot of German guest who visit us, and we always take them to Berliner Kindl! The food is very authentic and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are in Bavaria! The service is great and the food is priced right. They have a fantastic selection of German Beers! We have always been very happy with the food and service at Berliner Kindl! We give this unique restaurant 5 + Stars.

Pleasant surroundings and great German food. We dine here often and find it to be unique here in the mountains. We always take visitors here and they enjoy it, too!

This is authentic German food and beer. We stopped for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The menu had an extensive choice of sausages. We sampled three types of sausages and the Reuben sandwich. The German potato salad was very flavorful and properly served at room temperature. The sauerkraut had a very mild flavor. Our server was very knowledgeable about the large variety of German beers. Overall, it was an excellent lunch!

This is the second time at this resturant. The food is ok, the portions are small and the cost is high. A ruebin should have more than 1 pc. of meat and the "hamburger steak" is nothing more than 2 hamburgers with a small spoonful of potato saled. Next trip to Black Mountain we will not dine there. There are many more options.
