The food is probably one of the worst experiences I have had along with the person I was dining with. While the attraction seems to be it's popularity in a "family" restaurant welcoming kids, two by two and running around yelling, it's really not suitable for adults if they have taste and any ability to hear, see, or taste. The entree, veal marsala, that I ordered had what looked like slabs of meat with brown gravy poured over it. Asked the waitress why it was so dark and thick as well as twice the amount put on most veal, she replied, "it's brown gravy". I could only assume it came from a tub or large can bought in bulk. Hardly anything that you would find served in Little Italy or even a restaurant just making a "best effort".
If you want a place to take the kids, don't mind what you eat, and are looking for a lot of bad food for the money, this is your place. If not you'd do better with a lowly Olive Garden if Ciao's is too good. - The Bella Italia proprietor is very pleased by his business, and has some following with "that" type of older or family clientele. I decided it was not worth the trouble to comment to him since he no doubt would not get it. Or if he did, would be laughing all the way to the bank depository as for whatever reason, people actually line up to get into here!

Don't get me wrong, the place is very pretty and sets an amaing mood but the food and there "policy" is horrible. My first and only time i went there i got the italian steak with there homemade blue cheese. I love blue cheese and if you go to to itailin resturants then you know its very good (or so i thought). I asked for the steak medium well and it came out very rare and i decided i didnt want to hurt the cooks feelings by sending it back so i thought i would mask it by the blue cheese dressing. When i tasted it, i felt my stomache turn. The blue cheese dressing had either sat out for days or it was served spoiled. I didn't feel well very quickly and wanted nothng more then to leave. I asked for the check and explained the situation. I was completey shocked when i was asked to pay for the steak i did not eat. According to the owner's policy, it was my fault i put the steak into the blue cheese dressing. It was 16.90 for something that made me sick (and didnt evemn come with a salad). He made the steak and the blue cheese, and i have never been so shocked by that explaination that i told the waiter that his boss is promoting bad buisness and doens't care about the customer, just as long as i pay. I ended up pucking that night and was rather P.O. about it. I would never recommending going here ever.!
