It was a Sunday afternoon not during peak hours. We decided to take out and eat at home. We placed the order and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. So we timed our departure and arrived around 20-25 minutes after the order was placed. When we got there they said it would be a few more minutes. So we waited....and waited...and 20 minutes later I asked how much longer it would be and they said it was almost ready. ALMOST ready??? C'mon! Since I was with my parents whom I was treating, I didn't want to make a fuss but it was obvious that they didn't start cooking the food until we arrived. Then when everything finally came out, I checked the bags and so many things were wrong. They forgot sides of coleslaw and french fries, and when we got home we futher discovered that not one tartar sauce was included and the kids hamburger was smothered in mayonaise on the bun and the bun on the burger. Doesn't everyone know buns go on the side for a take out order so they don't get soggy and for a kids meal, why would they assume mayonaise would be wanted? My son couldn't eat his hamburger. The fish was tasty but without tartar sauce it was not as good and the portions were on the smaller side and the prices on the larger side. And on our way out, since we had mentioned so many things were missing, there was no apology for the wait, or the missing food, they just went and got it and stuck it in the bag and walked away. Nice, very nice. If I get a yen for some fresh fish again I may go back but I won't be in a hurry and I'll certainly check my stuff!

Jimmy's is a great resturant, their seafood is excellent. Oh the oyster is tremendous and if you sit at the bar they have an employee that opens them right in front of you.
