Located in the heart of Coconut Grove, the concept of a log cabin in a tropical climate may at first glance seem unlikely. However, it is actually a welcome retreat for those who enjoy the warmth of a cozy fireplace and well made home-cooked meal.
Mr. Moe's American-styled menu is the centerpiece for it's home-grown appeal. Everything on the menu is home-cooked and made to order. While Mr. Moe's is renowned for its selection of Certified Black Angus beef dishes, and succulent BBQ entrees with your choice of homemade sauces, our chef also creates all American favorites, like mac and cheese, pasta dishes, pizzas and burgers.
Every detail of the decor was carefully selected to evoke a home-grown feeling. Mr. Moe's was built with all natural materials that were brought from throughout North America - wooden logs from North Carolina, Colorado river-rock and slate-rock from Nova Scotia.
Mr. Moe's distinctive look and atmosphere can be attributed to the eclectic collection of artifacts, collectors items and memorabilia from Americana and the Old West. Even the animals that are found in every corner of Mr. Moe's are representative of American fauna. Mr. Moe's most famous resident is a 11 foot Grizzly Bear which rests a top of a rock with a mountain landscape at it's backdrop. This landscape, as well as the wood carving of an American Indian were the creations of local artists who contributed to Mr. Moe's familiar surroundings.
To add to the Americana theme, Mr. Moe's is home to Mechanical Bull/Country Night on Wednesdays, as well as Karaoke Night on Tuesdays, College Night on Thursdays and live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Mr. Moe's is the only restaurant and bar in the Grove that stays open 7 days a week from 11 am to 3 am.
