The restaurant you are sitting in is a labor of love, it honors mothers everywhere. My mother, Lucille, has been my guiding light all my life and the recipes she taught me and my four bothers, (Tony, Tommy, Robert and Ronnie), has brought us all a passion for food made with love and care.
Our executive chef and partner, Gino Castriota, of Calabria, Italy Chalet in northern New Jersey, when I was 18.
Along with our chef du cuisine, Mario Petit, of Florence, Italy and our entire staff, we have worked very hard to bring you a family restaurant to enjoy often, not just on special occasions and chose Conifer for the beauty of the mountains and the friendly small town.
We've combined all natural steaks that have never had hormones or antibiotics and home-cooked Italian from various regions of Italy using the highest quality food and freshest ingredients.
With thanks to my wife Heidi without whose support any encouragement this would not have been possible, and on behalf of my mom, my daughters Jenee and Juliana, my long time friend and partner Mike Malin and our entire restaurant family, we appreciate your visiting Lucille's of Jersey.
