Little Anthony's fish and chips are the BEST we have ever had - better than anything on the Cape, in Boston, New Hampshire, or along the coast of Maine. The coating is delicate and never overbearing, and the very generous portion of fish has always been cooked to flaky perfection. One time when the fish used was talapia, the waitress let us know so we could select cod, haddock, or pollock instead if we wished. What a treat to find seafood prepared to this level of excellence in the middle of Massachusetts!

We have been dinning at this restaurant for over ten years. Originally from the North End of Boston, I can tell you that their fish market right there at the restaurant, serves the freshest and best tasting selection of fish in the area. Their lobster is unsurpassed when it comes to taste and selection. I would highly recommend this dinning experience to anyone who is looking for value,freshness, presentation.

We come in every Friday lunch, and although the service and the food is always good, the hostess has not been very friendly. Yesterday, August 28, the hostess sat us where we were not comfortable and then when we asked to move she made it seem like we were putting her out. When the owner was hostessing this never happened. There was also another young girl that used to hostess on Friday lunches during the summer and she was much more friendly than this one. Suggestion: Get a new hostess on Friday lunches or bring back one of the old ones.

My husband and I go to Little Anthony's almost weekly. Last Tuesday (July 28), we went there and had mixed reviews. The hostess had an attitude and didn't smile the whole time we were in there and the food took forever to come out. On the other hand, the server was wonderful. She was very pleasant and accommodating and continued to check on us throughout the meal. The two girls that were waitressing really worked well together and you could tell they liked what they did. Overall, the food was good (once we got it), and the service was wonderful.

Food was good and in abundence but the wait staff isnt very friendly toward there customers.

We stopped to eat at Little Anthony's last Sunday, June 7th, 2009 and enjoyed our meal thouroughly. I will definitely make a special trip to eat there again. The Sunday specials were well worth the money.

I am very happy to have discovered such a great seafood restaurant! It is much better than any place up near Salisbury Beach. You get what you pay for

Food met expectations; lobster was fresh and well-prepared. Other seafood dishes were quite tasty; maybe a bit salty. Our particular server was not all smiles 'n' sunshine, but the hostess was, as was another server who popped over to ask how everything was. Amazing how far a little cheer will go. Kids menu is limited, but adequate. It would have been nice if they threw a couple crayons our way and something to color on. Overall a decent dining experience. Would go back.

Great food. I went last summer and decided to eat outside. They do not have a liquor license for outside, so you can bring your own beer and wine. I wanted to get a large lobster, so I was able to go into their seafood market, pick the one I wanted. The waitress then picked it up and served it to me -- no upside cost unless i wanted to buy some extras -- corn on the cob, potatoe salad ,... Overall excellent food and at a very reasonable price. I plan to go there again as soon as the outside is opened for the season

The food was good a little overpriced. The waitress was very rude when I asked for the bill. We waited a while to get our bill , didn't pick up appetizer dishes. It wasn't as if they were busy. Sorry that I left a tip.

The food was cold. The waitress was less than inviting. Had and atitude, Didnt ask us if we are food was good or even if we wanted a refill on our empty drinks.

Excellent service and food. Huge portion at a reasonable price given today's economy. Got the chicken parm and was able to take enough home for lunch tomorrow. Service was quick and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

little anthonys is a great resturaunt, they have great food and are very friendly...i can never get enough

Ordered the shrimp scampi and was given one small scoop of pasta with the shrimp. The shrimp was delicious and a sufficient amount, but when I was done with my meal I was still hungry had to sit & watch the rest of my family eat their normal portions. Pasta is so cheap, and my meal wasnt, so you'd think they'd load you up on the pasta to make you atleast feel full and feel like you got what you paid for. I'd never order it again, unless I wasnt hungry.

BEEN TO MORE SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS IN MORE PLACES AND NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THIS PLACE FOR GREAT TASTE AND INCREDIBLE SIMPLICITY.

Little Anthony's has been my family and I's favorite restaurant since I've been a kid. The food is outstanding, the service is great as well. It isn't hard to get to and they have an outdoor dining area, screened in, for the summer months. If you're looking for a great meal, especially seafood, this is the place.

My husband and I love their bay scallops but for some reason they are rarely available. Why would a seafood place have a hard time acquiring bay scallops when other restaurants around always have them? They usually serve good sized portions and their specials of the day are usually well worth the money.

My family and i have been to this restaurant many times over a number of years. They Have their ups and downs but overall it is a good placeto eat. We try to get their at least once a month. They have one important failure particular for a seafood restaurant. Their coleslaw is abysmal, no taste at all.PLEASE fix.

When we asked for extra butter for our lobsters, we were told that they would have to charge us extra. The server was rude. The food was too expensive for the area. Our server was tapping her pen on her pad as she was waiting for us to order. We then made the mistake of getting take out another time and they forgot our appetizers. By the time we realized it, we were heading back to NH. We called and told them, they informed us, we could come back..

an excellent place for seafood lovers. large portions at moderate prices. you definitely get your moneys'worth. we had to wait for our meal on a friday because it was so busy but the following saturday there was no wait. limited children's menu. really good appetizers served quickly. our first visit there was with a party of two and our second visit with a party of seven (including children). excellent experiences both times.
