We were on vacation and took my daughter. The location was perfect for downtown and the University of Austin Campus. I usually worry when we try a new veggie restaurant. My daughter loved it considering even though she is vegeterian, she's still a kid and picky. We loved it. Wish there was one in Houston, The service was great. My daughter wants to go back to Austin just for the food!!! As far as the fool about parking, give me a break!!!! If you were going to eat, eat!!!!!

I agree. If the sign says parking for customers only, use your head and tell them before you high-tail it to run errands. Their food is awesome and they need all the parking they can get at that lacation.

I was just reading reviews and had to comment on this. Your an idiot. You were not a customer, you were going to be a customer. I mean did you tell the restaurant you were going to eat there? you parked and left. How are they supposed to know that you are going to come back and eat there? use a little common sense!!!!!!

I stopped by Veggie Heaven while running errands today. I heard it was pretty good and felt like eating healthy. I parked my car, delivered some mail next door and on the way into the restaurant I saw someone TOWING MY CAR! I asked them why! "This parking is for Veggie Heaven customers only." "But I'm a customer!" "Sorry, but you left the lot and I sit in the back and am paid to call a truck in the moment someone leaves the lot."

Apparently, if you visit this restaurant, you must park and immediately go inside. Any delay on your part will result in your car being towed. Please don't stop and tie your shoe. Please don't drop off mail. Please don't stand by the street and talk to friends while you are waiting for the rest of your party to show up. This will cost you an extra $25.00.

Now, I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. Apparently there are none on staff until 4:00 PM but the person I did speak with informed me that the restaurant has nothing to do with the man sitting in the back of the parking lot with a 2-way radio calling in tow trucks the moment you step away from the car. Seems a little strange that they would let something like that go on without their consent but to each his own.

BUT ANYWAY!

In conclusion, please DO NOT eat at this restaurant UNTIL the rectify their parking situation. I understand that parking is limited and they want to reserve it for their customers. But I was a customer, at least I wanted to be, and they still tried to tow my car and made me pay a fine and NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

If you are an owner or manager of this restaurant and you read this, please take note.
