Restaurant Description

Authentic Italian Cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere and a passion to provide each guests the best possible service and unique experience they can’t find anywhere else in Salt Lake City.
“Tucci’s is not a chain and is locally owned by its management team.
Owners Mirsad Masic, Jan Thompson, and Jamil Ahmad are completely committed to welcoming every guest and making sure that you and your guests have a great time.
“We want to create guests for life. We love what we do and it’s more enjoyable when we know who we are serving.”

We went to Tucci's on Saturday night (09/08/07) initially just to get some Take Out food. We were greeted at the door by one of the owners who had a genuine welcome for us. He was from Europe and was very enthusiastic about helping us in any way possible. We told him that we would like to get Take Out and he got us some menus and proceeded to show us specialty items that were on display. They looked incredible and it was pretty cool to see exactly what they look like. They had about 8 sets of French doors that open out on to the patio that looked incredibly inviting so we decided to stay. We had a server named Tom who saw by our attire that we had ridden our bikes there. He mentioned that right there on their patio they had a bike-rack and even said they provide locks for their guests so you don't have to carry your own. We shared a bottle of Brunello, and a Bruschetta variety appetizer. I had Carne Misto that had Lamb, Pork chop, NY Steak and Italian Sausage all cooked to perfection. My wife had Grilled Salmon with a Basil pesto sauce. She loved it. Tom had impeccable timing, a good personality, and a smile every time he came to the table. We finished with Tiramisu with Cappuccinos for dessert. We ended up staying for about 2 hours and never felt rushed and we never had to wait for anything. The only negative thing I have to say about the evening was a table next to us who were obviously taking their personal problems on the staff. They were rude to their server, the bus boy, the person who delivered their food and quite frankly rude to us by behaving like children. It was long over due for my wife and I to treat ourselves to a nice evening out. To allow ourselves to relax, be waited on and enjoy quality service. Thank You Tucci's & staff. P.S. At the end of the meal Tom said that we got 15% off our food. He said it is an incentive for their guests to commute to Tucci's on bikes and take advantage of their bike-rack and locks. Grazie - Tucci's!

Pros: Service, Atmosphere, Amenaties, Food, and Authenticity

I have recently moved to the area a few months ago, I have been here on three separate occasions and I have to say some of the best food I have ever eaten! Thirsty? The homebrewed iced tea-the best! Definitely start off with Risotto Cakes-nothing ...
