My wife and I dropped in one evening this summer out of curiosity - recently moved to Kimberly in early 2010. We're no connoisseurs’, but over the years dined in some very good restaurants on special occassion in past cities we've called home: Detroit, Minneapolis, Atlanta and South Bend. Depending on one's expectations and definition of fine dining, we place value on quality of food, price paid, atmosphere and outgoing - not just friendly - service and a feeling of wanting you as guests. Can't say we've been anywhere that has met expectations better. Our 27th anniversary is tomorrow. Since moving to the Fox Cities in 2007, can't think of any other place we'd rather spend a nice evening out for dinner.

The Flying Dutchman Supper Club re-opened recently under new management, and is now operating as a Supper Club. I have been there twice since it's re-opening, first ordering the Blackend Prime Rib. It was nothing short of fantastic. On my second visit I ordered Bob's Cajun Special and likewise it was a special treat. The service is excellent as is the food. From what I could see, all of the patrons were extremely pleased with the food, service and the warmth of the dining rooms and barroom areas. All entree's include the soup and salad bar which is loaded with many favorites, and it is well maintained by the staff. The restaurant, in the past definitly had it's problems and most likely is the reason they closed. It is now managed by the former owners of Dorn's Supper Club and will undoubtedly become a destination for anyone looking for a great dining experience

Went for a WI fish fry and I ended up with a raw piece of walleye. They did give me a second plate which was then overdone. The thing that upset me the most was that I only got a sorry from the waitress. No drink, nothing off the bill, nothing from the manager. Won't be going back.

This was the single worst dining experience I've ever had. The service really sucked, and the employee were very rude. Will not go back. Truly Bad
