Restaurant Description

Solo's centerpiece is a fully intact Boeing KC-97 tanker. Built in 1953, this magnificent airplane refueled aircraft throughout the world. Then, in May 2002, it began its second mission~ to be the preeminent aviation restaurant in the United States. Forty-two passengers can actually eat in the plane of the 275-seat restaurant. Rich in aviation history, displaying 100's of pictures, memorabilia and rare artifacts, Solo's offers much more than great food, it offers a flight through aviation history.

Treat yourself to first class and celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Flight and fly onto Solo's!

Whatever party you are planning, Solo's can accommodate you. From casual get-togethers to formal functions, Solo's is the ticket. Please call or email us so we can accommodate you.

Solo's opens daily for lunch at 11:00 am and serves until 9:00 weekdays and 10:00 Friday and Saturday. Please call for special holiday hours.

This was the second time my wife and I have eaten at the Airplane--the first time was before the name change. Our first experience was disappointing but with the name change perhaps....
The food was not bad, neither was it good. The service was fine. The value was very low. It was so bad that though we had another coupon from restaurant.com we didn't use it, I rather eat the $10 for the coupon than eat another meal at the Airplane Restaurant.

Nosh is NOT trying to compete with KFC...duh! It's a relaxed, hip place with great decor and a pretty creative array of small plate options. The sweet potato fries are a real treat, and the beet salad is a piece of art.

This is our new favorite restaurant & it should be yours as well. Upon entering the parking lot & seeing a so-so looking exterior we did not know what to expect, but once we walked inside it was the decor, the lighting, & the personality of the our ...

Our favorite sports pub with the best menu. I read they got Best Wings in the Indy but, IMHO, their Sante Fe Chicken is far better, the best in town. Or try their philly cheese steak fries...yummy! We prefer the bar area with TVs and tall tables. ...
