Sushi Thai is a little Winston Salem gem. There’s no ostentatious, slick décor, but the ambiance is inviting and conducive to a relaxed dining experience. Seating is adequate for the ebb and flow of regulars. Waitpersons are cordial and friendly, gladly explaining dishes for novices or making suggestions for regulars wanting to expand their list of favorites. They are attentive throughout the meal but never intrusive. The sushi is the best in the Triad area – fresh, artistically prepared and presented. No visit would be complete without the tempura vegetable appetizer! It’s a huge mélange of garden vegetables lightly fried in a crispy crust of rice flour with panko crumbs. The fresh basil rolls are fantastic. The Thai dishes are superb! Again, very fresh ingredients skillfully prepared and presented. For the traditional spicy selections, diners can choose a heat level from very mild to over the top. The curries will always be spicy; however, there are many selections without any chili pepper.

It's not the best place to go for a dinner. And you pay for drinks additionally.

Unbelievably Fantastic Sushi! Hibachi food is also excellent - Try their Grouper - to die for! My favorite sushi rolls are the Wake Forest and the True Love - phenominal!

Great ambience, value, friendly service. Wide selection of Asian or Oriental food if you will. Very wide variety of food, some authentic and some less so. Another reviewer is apparently confused as this is not Thai food. Repeat, great value...l ...
