I ordered a pork plate to go...It cost $9 total with a drink and it wasn't that much food. It was a small portion of meat, even smaller sides (which weren't that great) and a really good roll. I guess if you consider that I paid $9 to have a great piece of bread it's okay. I won't go there again.

I have purchased Barbequed Nachos for my last time at Stroud's today. The chips were stale and the cheese sauce was so thin that it had the same consistency as milk! The rib sample was quite over cooked It look like it had been reheated numerous times causing it to be dried out and tough. This is not the first time I have received stale nacho chips. I've made several complaints and was either told "We just opened a new bag a few minutes ago," or "We'll check on it." Those comments are not what I expected to hear after having spent $7 or $8 on a meal that was not edible. The service today was unprofessional. The young cashier was having what appeared to be a teasing type conversation with a young man in the kitchen. During their conversation, she opened the register, and totally walked away from it to continue speaking with him. She left the cash draw wide open and the drive-thru window was also open. Anyone could have reached through the window and grabbed the money. The one star overall rating is for poor food quality and unprofessional service. Stroud's, you need to monitor food quality, employee performance and customer service!
My family eats here at least once a month. We come on Friday or Saturday night when they have Catfish. What? Catfish at a BBQ joint. Yes, the best southern fried Catfish I have ever eaten. Plates are full and prices low. Today is Friday and I a

We HAVE visited Stroud`s BBQ alot in the past. Tonight I picked up a Pork value pack for dinner. During our meal we found several sharp ,tiny bones n the BBQ. We have a 5 yo daughter and this scared us. I called at 5:30 on 08/09/07 and talked to a young mgr.Greg or Jeff I believe he said, He said uhhh, I hate it . I would no longer recommend this BBQ unless you have the time to pick out bones before feeding your family.I told the young mgr we would not be back & he hung up.No more Strouds BBQ for MY family!
