Elizabethville Restaurant Guide

Very overpriced. Service is average, portions are small. One could order a meal and desert and still leave hungry. Not even close to what this place used to be. Won't be going there any more.

A Special Place is a great place to go for home cooked food. The service has always been very good, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. This is one of my all-time favorite places to eat.

My daughter and I stopped by for lunch today. What a wonderful experience! The service was prompt and very pleasant. The food was delicious. I have been to this restaurant several times over the years and have always had a very good meal and great service.

This place used to be great, now the food is bland and is always luke warm, no matter what I order. The last two times I was there, we waited a half an hour at our table before anyone even brought us menus. The second time this happened, we left. Who knows how long we would have been sitting there. I live 5 miles away, this is convenient for me, but I will find someplace new if I decide to eat out. This place is going downhill fast.

I can't think of a place I'd rather eat than the Special Place. We live about 45 miles away, but try to come 4-5 times/year. We have most of the main Chain restaurants in our area, but none compare to the quality and service of the Special Place. We are forever grateful to the person who recommeded it to us so many years ago. Keep up the same friendly service and delicious meals. And save a table for us, for we'll be back real soon.
