Just a sweet place to eat. The sushi was the best I have ever had. Owners and waitress were very friendly. Prices were in range with most resturants of this type. Definately recommend to all my friends.
Soon's may be the one of the oddest sushi restaurants anywhere, but the fish is fresh and there are true gems on the menu. First the restaurant is in an old neighborhood bar, and other than a few decorations there's no disguising that "bar feel." Bob (co-owner) doesn't really help to dispel that feel, but Soon (co-owner and sushi chef) can make some awfully good sushi. (Note that many wonderful restaurants in Kenosha, WI do not have the same ambiance of establishments in other areas, but the food in these same establishments can be amazing. )
Some of the rolls are VERY LARGE, when compared to other sushi restaurant offerings.
There are a couple of items that are really good, like the squid salad and the spicy tuna cocktail. They both come in a martini glass and they are both excellent. We always order these two items to start our meals and share, one of each will suffice for four diners... Rolls and sushi are good, everything seems pretty fresh and tasty. The salad could be better - I'm not much of an iceberg lettuce person, I prefer field greens most of the time for my salads.
The cocktail salads may get you hooked on Soon's Sushi. After the first time we tried them, we thought more often of going to Soon's for lunch and dinner.
Called for Carryout. One Beef with garlic. Very rude on phone. What Beef and Garlic do you want!...We have several! I want the one on the menu that says Beef and Garlic. Ok, that will be 45 minutes. No thanks...You just lost a customer.
Stop crying people, who cares if the kid is rude. Its not really rude just cuts everything short, been coming here for almost ten years. Its right next to my house. Quality food, worth getting. Its not the best, but good enough. Its a carryout,

Very good food; best to call in ahead or you will wait for quite a while. My favorites: moo goo gai pan, orange chicken, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, sw/sour chicken, egg rolls.
We regularly dine at Thai Gourmet. It is the one restaurant in Kenosha where we consistently have excellent food with excellent service.
Recommended: Chicken Satay, Volcano chicken (beef, tofu, whatever is your favorite) puts on a great show with
