We have been to Sams many times - and the food is excellent-- the portions for your money are great. We have had the steaks - fish - chicken - ribs and ALL were excellent- The negative reviews are hard to believe, as the quality is always good. Pleasde judge for yourself. We are going to have supper there tonight and we love it.

If you like frozen fries and burnt scalops and gressy fried fish, then you will enjoy this food..
myself I will never go back....

Sam's has been consistent in its quality and value over the two years I've been eating there. Wait staff is friendly and efficient. The fish is very good and have never had a bad experience. Baby back ribs very tender though sauce is a bit heavy. However, getting a piece of very tender steak for just $4 extra or a half order of scallops and/or clams for four dollars is a deal that's hard to beat anywhere. Sam's fish takes a backseat to no one and when comparing portion size and quality of product, nobody can touch Sam's. Also like the Sam's card where each visit you earn stamps toward a free meal. That's added value. There's is no way that the chains can provide the same quality, taste, portion size and value than can be had at Sam's.

we have had good nights and bad. thursdays corned beef and cabbage was good 1st time but had no flavou the next 2 times. also under cooked. the sea food chowder we like. staff is great. we like how we are treated. we will continue to go there

i have no complaints about the food,or the staff,both are great.Although i have had some shivers from the female bathroom--in one word--GROSS--in my day when we closed for the night,the dishwasher was responsible for cleaning the washroom.I was under the understanding that the washrooms were suppose to be cleaned daily,now in my book,daily doesn't mean once a week or less.I know a washroom gets dirty with use --especially in the restaurant business,but at least present clean washrooms to the customers.

This was the most disgusting seafood we ever had. The seafood chowder was ok except the scallops weren't cooked and very slubby. The scallops and fish in the seafood platter were not completly cooked either, the clams weren't too bad and the fries were great. We were going to get a couple of cheese cake to take home but the meal so turned us off we didn't want to chance it. Most of the meal was not eaten and I refused to take the rest home even for my dogs. Definately won't be back. was a waste of money!!!

Great food, friendly, capable service. Great value for your money. Portions are large and a sheer delight for fish and seafood lovers. Especially like the Haddock Tips as their batter is neither heavy or saturated with grease. If you can't finish your meal, you can doggie-bag the rest and even after reheating the fish maintains its fresh quality. One of the best places to eat where the quality and quantity of the food, is top notch value for your dining dollar and is family friendly.

Fresh seafood and salads always. Great for take-out. Greek salad is superior to most. Well managed.
