I remember going to Salvatore's for my Junior Prom (years ago!) then going back a few times with my family because it was such a great dining experience. Each time we have great service, great food, the ambiance is PERFECT! I am looking forward to going back for my 1 year wedding anniversary with my Husband this weekend. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

Went on a Sunday for brunch. They did not have enough waiters and the service was SLOW. It also took forever to get our food. Got a cup of bisque as an appetizer and it was pretty good. Then the rest of the table received a cup as part of their brunch and you could tell they just cooked it. It tasted like raw flour, no seasoning and was unedible. The shrimp entree tasted like the freezer. The eggplant was greasy. To be fair, my husband like the Cajun Steak but we will never go back.

OMG...best Italian food period. Wish the location was larger but the food doesn't get any better.

Very overrated. The corn and crab bisque that everyone raves over is just too rich to enjoy. The entrees were marginal at best, especially for the hiked prices. Try somewhere else like Fausto's if you're looking for italian in the Metairie area.

I like this place very much. Everything I've ever ordered was tasty. It gets a quite busy sometimes (well most of the time) but that just proves how good their food is. My favorites are their salads but the muffelatta is great too.
