East Greenwich Restaurant Guide

After an absence of several years we visited Richard's Pub twice in the past two weeks. The deli sandwiches were very good , but the fried clams were a disaster. They were too large and very rubbery. Smaller seems to translate to more tender which these were not.

We have been going often to Richard's Pub for a dozen years and have never been disappointed. Every meal is delicious and the prices are fair. We love the clams casino. Their salads are always fresh, crispy, and generous. Every salad dressing is good....i love the honey mustard vinigarette. When they have the swordfish....we order that. Superb, as are all the fish meals.

My Husband and I have been going to Richard’s Pub for almost twenty years! The Service and food are out of this world! It’s a lot like a famous 80’s sitcom. If you go there often enough everyone knows your name! This does have one downside though the manager will sit with us for hours! We actually take breaks from going in for a month or two and often try to avoid the nights he works. On occasion he has sat with us through our entire dinner forcing us to throw away our cold dinners! We do like him and haven’t wanted to be rude so we have just avoided him and at times the restaurant despite the great food and service!

My wife and I have been going to Richard's Pub for several years now and we always enjoy sitting in the lounge. However, for the first time they made us put in our name to sit at the bar! The food and service are great jsut be prepared to wait!

Richard's Pub has been one of our favorite restaurants for some time now. The service is by far the best around! We love the food, great portions for the price.

The food is wonderful. The establishment is nice.
The waitresses are awful. I have never been to a place where a feel like I'm really putting her out placing an order and not leaving right away. If I go there again, I will not set myself up for another miserable waitress. I'll sit at the bar and pray for a decent bartender. That's if I go there again.

I had my daughter's baby shower at Richards the brunch was fantastic and Pat was wonderful to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better menu...Pat worked with me and customized the brunch buffet the food was delicious and the service great. I would use them again in a heartbeat!!!
