The food was dissapointing. The Grilled Shrimp Tallarines was a plate of corn mush (it was supposed to be fettuccini made from corn) and overly salted shrimp. There our probably a thousand places in this town to get great shrimp tacos at a fraction of the cost of that plate. "Over priced bad food" ...

Dona Lupe's is a favorite of my co-workers and my family. However, the wait-staff and management are sometimes rude, causing us to wonder if they really appreciate our business.
I love Dona Lupe! The food is YUMMY!! Some of the waitreses could be a little friendlier.. but besides that .. It's awesome! & it's 1 block from my house!! =-)
This eatery is right outside our neighborhood. You might call it a hole in the wall. The decor has a Mexican flavor and it's really not well done...but the food and service more than makes up for it.

WE PAID US $70 FOR 3 PEOPLE. My brother in law didn't even eat his food (Pollo Saltado or as my brother in law called Pollo "Insultado"). I got a big plate of nothing: 4 little pieces of fish, 3 shrimps (is the true, just 3) and some calamari. The only good thing was the Tacu Tacu Lemon Tree my sist...
