food average, but not up to Austin standards
They don't have a door greeter but it isn't as though we were ignored. We were seated within a minute and drinks were received in a minute. The speed was good, the food was better! This is a great restaurant! The best Mexican food in Austin, fabulous and friendly service with a smile, as well as a beautiful setting. The restaurant has mariachis on Friday nights, and they whole restaurant feels the energy of the music. I love the whole dining experience!
Taco Cabana is a fast food restaurant and as mexican food goes is of average quality. However since there are not many Mexican fast food places, it is better than most. Not as good as most table service restaurants but much better than Taco Bell.
