A local spot with local flavor in West Philadelphia near Overbrook High School on Lancaster Ave. Very good food and portions at reasonable prices. No real ambiance, but it is a diner in a diner building. This is a "the locals know it's good" kind of place, most others would probably just drive by...

About the best diner food in the area. Service os just ok. You can get lost in the shuffle of a busy day. Great breakfast favorites. And the homemade toast, wow! Have been going since '92.
My partner and I love it! Great service, awesome food, REAL DINER PRICE (Very affordable)! We would go to many diners through out the north east and nothing compares to the service and food of Athenians =)

Tucked away on 24th street, this place is the best and I find myself returning, even though I try to hit a different place regularly. It has a style all of its own since the renovations. The food is delicious and the prices are unbelievable. One word, what you save on food, you can easily exhaust on...

After visiting the Art Museum, we were looking for a place for an early dinner. We found Bridgid's with a Belgian beer happy hour. The bar wasn't smoky, it was friendly, and the beers were fabulous. We moved into the back for a fairly early dinner. Finally . . . we have found a true bistro! Bri...

Cafe Breezes is like home away from home but with a 5 star restaurant feel. They dont serve your typical bar. They have salamon fettucini, lamb chops, grilled garlic chicken. Food you would not see in a corner bar. The ambience is excellent and so is the service

Club Breezes is fortunate to have survived an ever changing economy, yet remain consistant in the quality of service to its patrons! 2013 will prove to be a banner year for Club Breezes, because of the visionary Victor Ragan along with his partners and staff. I look forward to hearing live music t...

My wife and I ate at the Hot Potato a number of times. We love the food and service. The excellant food and service has been consistent. The waiters/employees are very friendly. The restaurant appears to be very clean with a clean restroom. The kitchen is one doorway from the dining area. Also, all ...
The oldest ale house in the city, this place oozes character. The place is frequented by the young professionals and professional students on Tuesdays, fridays and Saturdays. Don't be intimidated by its alley location and the occasional transvestite on the street, this is an incredible heterosexual...

NOVI IS THE WORST! I went for a pizza and some nice jazz music on a Friday night. The music was good, the food was just ok, the service was the worst I've experienced in years. From the time we sat down the waitstaff completely ignored us.... it was close to impossible to even get a glass of water...
The plan to go to Dolce / Paradigm began with high ambitions. I invited in friends from out of town to celebrate New Year's Eve. We reserved a table and I paid $450 in advance (this price included two bottle service bottles). Upon arriving at the club, they would not seat us at our reserved table...

This place acts as if you are going to be a one time customer. Almost as if they think the majority of the people entering are tourists. The food was dry, bread was stale, etc. It is amazing this company continues to survive

Food was great! Portions too small. Kind and courteous staff. Overall an enjoyable experience.

I've wanted to try this restaurant for years. Finally did and found the food to be quite good, at about the price I would expect to pay for this quality (entrees about $20 each). I had a chicken/potatoe/leek soup (creamy and flavorful), Maryland crabcakes (light, not gooey), and coconut sorbet f...

We went here with a large business party. All food was served at the same time, all hot and everyone thought the seafood was amongst the best they have had. Generous portions. Nice presentation. Pleasant and somewhat stylized environment.

Terrific! It's a bit noisy if you're trying to carry on a serious conversation... but the setting is intimate and food is terrific.

The GOOD: This restaurant looks great on the inside. The chairs hurt after sitting in them for a while. The background music was fantastic. The warm bread they bring out was great, too. The BAD: They put the same seasoning on everything and it was way too heavy. It was on my salmon, broccoli, roas...
