Simply the best Mexican food....anywhere!
I ate at the new Ted's in norman off of 35 and I have to tell you I was amazed at the level of service this restaurant provides. I never had to ask for a thing. I got free chips, cheese sause, & several kinds of salsa. I had the "Best Mexican Beef Tacos' and they were the best I have ever had. A man...

We a Large Group of motorcycle riders were treated poorly. We did get there close to closing time on a Sunday. But insted of letting us know that they were closed or closing. The very un freindly waitress was short and snippy and had rather rude comments for us. I guess they didnt need 12 to 16 extr...
This used to be a great place to eat. Now the food is truly bad, as well as overpriced. Here you will find inedible meat served with a minimum of vegetables, pasta that comes in sticky clumps, "fresh" fried oysters that are obviously freezer-burnt, Eggs Benedict so watery you'll feel sick just loo...
Best tex-mex cuisine I have ever had! The chile relleno dinner is the best thing you ever wrapped a lip around and the service is superb! Ted's is my new favorite!
Don't listen to anyone who says this is not Norman's finest dining establishment. Period. It offers a menu selection equal to or better than in any megalopolis -- and the food is fresh and delectable. It is a bijou restaurant (elegant, with compact tables and seating), but five stars rule. It's wort...
I live in the Kansas City area but I'm originally from San Antonio, so I like to think I know a little something about good Mexican food. Everytime we visit my in-laws in OKC we have a mandatory meal at Ted's. I'll admit that the food is average to above average (in other words, I've probably had be...
i love this place! my favorite place in the city by far!
i love this restraunt!!!! i just love it!!!!!
We moved to Dallas from Oklahoma but always made a stop at Ted's anytime we came home. We now live near Washington D.C. and can't visit nearly as often, but Ted's is always one of the highlights of our trips back to Oklahoma. I've eaten Mexican food in Texas and tried many places in the Washington...
My husband and I used to be frequent diners at Misal. It was great when it was on Campus Corner, but when they moved "upscale" the attitude of the owners gradually changed, and the once simple but delicious food became less and less palatable. The prices are ridiculous for a very small serving of ...

WOW!!
My family eats at Teds once a month if not more. The staff is always friendly! As in food over price it is a great value! I have never once left Teds unsatisfied! It is worth the wait. The only problem is that we can no longer eat at any other Mexican resturant.
I visited Ted's on 2/16/07 and was initially turned off by the name and hostesses. Everyone there seemed to be Caucasian. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have any Mexicans? After being seated I saw there are a number of Mexican servers and cooks but I was further turned off by a comment of t...
I just have to say that those people below DO NOT know Mexican food! Your restaurant is definetly the best!! A+++!! On the Border is straight up TEX-MEX! Texans do not know what Gourmet Mexican food is and the cheese dip certainly doesn't taste powdery and cheap! I am greatful to have such a wonderf...
Let me assure you, the queso is not powdered... It is made fresh every couple of hours with real cheese(Velvetta), vegetables, and spices. We make everything fresh everyday for that matter and we are proud of it. I'm sorry you did not enjoy it however you should be more careful about your unfounded ...
I hear all the hype around this place, but wasn't too impressed. By far...not the best mexican food, but okay for Oklahoma standards. I still couldn't get over the generic powdered queso they serve. Give me the chain "On the Boarder" over this place anyday. Real mexican food is south of the red r...

One of the best kept secrets in Norman, OK. Great food, always fresh, reasonably priced. Definitely worth the trip to the east side of town. The menu includes assorted dishes offered as one meal (thali), so various items can be sampled for those new to Indian cuisine or those who just like va...
